What is SAW: Escape Experience London?

SAW: Escape Experience London is a theatrical immersive experience combined with the thrill of escape room style challenges. Those who dare to play the game will be split into teams of up to 6 people, where you will work together to complete challenges and explore multiple rooms to test yourselves and others.

Do I need to have watched the movies to do the experience?

No, you do not need to have watched any or all of the SAW films to participate. SAW: Escape Experience London is enjoyable for everyone, from the ultra fans to complete novices of Jigsaw’s games.

Where is SAW: Escape Experience London?

SAW: Escape Experience London can be found at 1 America Square, London, EC3N 2LS. Both Tower Hill Station and Fenchurch Street Station are a 5 minutes walk away. For information on travel, please visit How To Find Us.

How long is the experience?

SAW: Escape Experience London is approximately 70 minutes in duration. Though we recommend you arrive 10 minutes before your allocated start time. 

There is a bar at the end of the experience, so be sure to factor in time to have a well earned drink at the end…if you make it that far.

What happens when I arrive?

You will be greeted by one of our on-site security guards, who will take you into the building. You will be given the opportunity to use the toilet facilities and cloakroom cases before your experience begins. Please note, you will be required to sign a Disclaimer form on-site before your experience begins.

What happens if I am late for my booked arrival time?

Latecomers will not be admitted under any circumstances. We may be able to reschedule to later games subject to availability.

What is the difference between choosing SPIRAL and JIGSAW when booking tickets?

Please note the SPIRAL and JIGSAW routes are not based on any specific film. 

Both routes offer the same length and style of experience, where you will be faced with heartstopping and morally challenging tasks, decisions and consequences. However, the two routes differ in the locations you are taken and the challenges you face. Both have physical aspects and challenges. 

The SPIRAL route includes tight and enclosed spaces, and requires players to crawl on their hands and knees.

The JIGSAW A route is designed to be more accessible and is suitable for wheelchair users.

Due to the layout of the games, we are unable to accommodate motorised wheelchairs or buggies.

Will the experience be different if I come for a second time?

All teams begin the experience together, so if you return for a second time there will be shared elements that you will experience again. However, the SPIRAL and JIGSAW routes offer two unique journeys once Jigsaw’s game begins, so we would strongly recommend you return and try the second route to fully immerse and test yourself at SAW: Escape Experience London. 

What do the different teams mean?

All players begin the experience together as one large group. During the experience you will be split into (up to) four teams, as displayed when booking your tickets. Teams are made up of a maximum of 6 people, and you will complete the remaining journey in your team, leaving the others behind.

Age restrictions?

The age restriction for SAW: Escape Experience London is 16+. Anyone 16-17 years old must be accompanied by an adult (18+), who may be requested to show acceptable identification, at all times.

Identification bearing their photograph, date of birth, and a holographic mark. Examples of acceptable ID include photo card driving licences, passports, or proof of age cards bearing the PASS hologram, although other forms of ID which meet the criteria laid out above are also acceptable. Please ensure you bring acceptable identification with you, as we operate the Challenge 25 policy in The Traproom.

What should I wear to SAW: Escape Experience London?

SAW: Escape Experience London is a physical and immersive attraction so you should wear clothes and shoes that you feel comfortable moving around in.

Please note, fancy dress and costume masks are not permitted at SAW: Escape Experience London and you may be refused entry.

Are the games physically demanding?

Some elements are physically demanding but not all elements are, so you will be able to play to your strengths amongst your team and get involved where you feel comfortable to do so. 

The SPIRAL route is physically demanding and includes enclosed spaces.

Is the experience wheelchair accessible?

The JIGSAW A route is wheelchair accessible and suitable for those less physically able. Due to the layout of the games, we are unable to accommodate motorised wheelchairs or buggies. Wheelchair users should book their tickets directly with [email protected], so we can ensure you have a comfortable and enjoyable experience. SAW: Escape Experience London is a physical and immersive experience which includes enclosed and tight spaces, therefore we strongly recommend that wheelchair users complete the experience with a guest that can assist them where necessary. Can I play SAW: Escape Experience London whilst pregnant?

Due to the physical restriction during some challenges and the intense nature of the experience, SAW: Escape Experience London is not suitable for pregnant people

Is there a bar or area to purchase food and drink within the experience / venue?

For visitors that make it that far, The Traproom will be available at the end of the experience, to reward players that were brave enough to complete Jigsaw’s trials. The Traproom bar is an homage to all things SAW.

The bar offers a range of bottled beer, cider, wine and premium spirits & mixers, and we highly recommend our signature Needle Cocktails.

Is there a place to store bags and coats?

Coats and small–medium sized bags can be stored in allocated team storage cases, and they are returned to you at the end of your experience. The storage cases will not be locked, contents are stored at the owner’s own risk.

Large bags and suitcases cannot be stored on site.

Can I purchase SAW: Escape Experience London merchandise within the experience?

SAW: Escape Experience London merchandise is available to purchase within the bar area of the experience.

Can I drink alcohol before playing SAW: Escape Experience London?

Entry is not permitted to anyone suspected of consuming alcohol or illegal substances prior to the experience. This is for your safety and for the safety of other customers and our staff members. Be responsible and sensible and save the celebrations for once you have survived SAW: Escape Experience London.
