Helpful information for disabled guests and guests with special requirements to prepare for their visit and to make the most of their experience.

SAW: Escape Experience London welcomes guests with disabilities, along with their helper and carers. Due to the challenges of certain routes, Jigsaw A is the only fully accessible route. In order to help provide disabled guests with the best possible experience, it is important that guests with access requirements contact our Box Office to make their booking.

Please be aware the experience includes tight and enclosed spaces, and may require players to crawl on their hands and knees. The experience includes flashing lights, strobe, smoke, special effects, loud music / sound effects and scenes of torture.

Getting here

Our nearest tube station with step free access is Tower Gateway DLR Station, with Tower Hill Station and Fenchurch Street Station also nearby. We recommend using TFL’s Journey Planner to help find the best route for you. Unfortunately, we do not have parking facilities on site.

Carer Tickets

Carer tickets are available but limited to 2 per time slot. Carers will participate in the experience as part of the 24 players. Please contact [email protected] or 020 8164 6469 to book free carer tickets. Carer tickets like all other tickets are subject to availability, so please book in advance to guarantee entry.

Please note that documentation may be requested upon receipt of a complimentary ticket when collecting tickets to the entrance of the venue – this can either be:

Proof of DLA (Disabled Living Allowance)
A Blue Badge or Freedom Pass
Signed letter from a doctor or GP (Photo ID required)

Toilets

All toilets within our venue are gender neutral. We have a disabled toilet within our venue, though please note this can only be accessed via our bar, The Traproom – a member of the FOH team will be available to guide you. The disabled toilet is fitted with an assistance alarm, hand rail on the left hand side, a separate wash basin and hand dryer.

Wheelchair Access

General Information

SAW: Escape Experience London is accessible to wheelchair users and is located on the ground floor only.
SAW: Escape Experience London is a physical and immersive experience which includes enclosed and tight spaces, therefore we strongly recommend that wheelchair users complete the experience with a guest that can assist them where necessary. Please contact [email protected] or 020 8164 6469 to book a complimentary carer ticket.
We can admit 1 wheelchair user per game, due to fire evacuation procedures.
We do not have wheelchairs available for hire.
The width of the wheelchair must not exceed 75cm, and wheelchair users or their helpers must be able to navigate tight angles.
Due to the layout of the games, we are unable to accommodate motorised wheelchairs or buggies.

Booking

Wheelchair users must book their tickets directly with [email protected], so we can ensure you have a comfortable and enjoyable experience.
Jigsaw Route A is our only Wheelchair accessible route.

Arrival

Unfortunately, our main entrance is not wheelchair accessible. Wheelchair users should follow the arrival instructions and entrance location as per their pre-game email, where they will be met by a member of the Front of House team.
On arrival for your slot, we will introduce you to a team member who will take you through a personal evacuation plan should you need it.
The FOH member of staff will guide you and any teammates to our side entrance which is access friendly.
Please note that the side entrance takes you directly into the Experience, and the theming of the entrance way and hallway is deliberately themed as a derelict building site, due to the Experience beginning under the unnerving eye of the Avaritia Property Group.
As the entrance takes you directly into the Experience you may be required to wait outside for a short while to fit into the scheduling of the Experience.

The Experience

Jigsaw Route A is our only wheelchair accessible route.
The Furnace (a feature within Jigsaw Route A) is not wheelchair accessible.
Wheelchair users or their helpers must be able to navigate tight angles.

The Traproom (Bar)

Our bar countertop is not accessible for wheelchair users, but a member of our Bar team will be available to assist with your order.
One of our Photo Kiosks is wheelchair accessible, to view and purchase your photos and videos from the experience.
There are drink countertops available for wheelchair users.

Exit

The Exit is the same as the Entrance, and therefore requires a member of the FOH team to escort you to the exit. As the exit route takes you through the Experience, there may be a short wait until exiting is possible, to fit into the scheduling of the Experience.
There are three wheelchair accessible emergency exits and an additional three with the use of an accessible wheelchair ramp.

Autism and other Neuro-Diverse conditions

SAW: Escape Experience London is a highly sensory experience that uses a range of lighting and sound effects, and includes group participation, enclosed spaces, strobe, smoke, special effects, jump scares and scenes of torture, and may require players to crawl on their hands and knees.

You can leave the experience at any point by using our ‘Needs Assistance’ signal, demonstrated during the pre-game briefing. Please note, it will not be possible to re-admit players into the experience once they have left. We do not have designated breakout areas, and there are no places to sit down during the experience.

Deaf & Visually Impaired Guests

SAW: Escape Experience London is a highly sensory game, and includes tight and enclosed spaces, flashing lights, strobe, smoke, special effects, loud music / sound effects and scenes of torture. Dim lighting and dark spaces occur throughout, and due to the escape-room nature of the experience, players are left to find their own way out of each room, and are not guided by actors or staff members. Guests with low vision or have a visual impairment or have hearing difficulties may struggle to participate in the Experience fully; however you are able to bring a carer free of charge to assist.

Subtitles are included on all video content throughout the Experience and torches and magnifying glasses are available – please request these in advance of your visit to ensure they are available for your game ([email protected]).

We currently do not have an Induction Loop System installed for the benefit of visitors with hearing aids. However, this is something we are working towards being able to provide in the near future. You may bring an interpreter with you as your carer.

Service Animals (Registered Guide Dogs, Hearing Dogs and Medical Alert Animals) are welcome around Saw: Escape Experience London; however please be aware that game areas do have special effects, very loud noises and lighting effects within the challenge areas.

Mobility and medial requirements

SAW: Escape Experience London is an immersive and physical game – whilst every effort is made to ensure guests are able to experience as much as possible, there may be occasions where guests with medical requirements will need to make a decision about whether sections of the game are appropriate for them.

It is important to note that our 80 minute experience does not provide an opportunity to sit down once you step into the venue. Some of the challenges are located on the floor or lower down and may require players to crawl on their hands and knees.

Due to the physical restriction during some challenges and the intense nature of the experience, Saw: Escape Experience London is not suitable for pregnant people, people with heart conditions or those of a nervous disposition.

Photosensitive epilepsy

SAW: Escape Experience London is not suitable for anyone with photosensitive epilepsy, as Strobe lighting is used throughout, along with flashing lights and special effects.

Claustrophobia

Parts of the Experience require being enclosed in small and locked spaces. SAW: Escape Experience London includes an artificial lift, holding up to 24 players, and our game rooms hold up to teams of 6 people.

Jigsaw Route A is our suggested route for those that would still like to participate in SAW: Escape Experience London, though please do not nominate yourself for the Furnace challenge.
